Who this policy covers

Odentaq is an offline dental practice management app made for a single dentist or a small clinic. This policy explains how Odentaq handles data for the dentist who uses the app (you) and, through you, for the patient records you keep in it.

What Odentaq stores, and where

All clinical data you enter — patient details, visit notes, tooth charts, treatment plans, prescriptions, appointments, billing records, and any photos or X-rays you attach — is stored locally on your phone, inside the app's private storage. It is never uploaded to us, to any cloud service, or to any third party. Odentaq has no patient database on the internet, and no account sign-in is required to use the app.

Backups

Odentaq can create a backup file of your records, encrypted with a recovery password that only you choose and only you know. That backup file is saved to a location you pick on your own device or your own storage (for example, a folder you choose). We never receive a copy of it, and we cannot decrypt it if you lose your password.

Internet access

Odentaq is designed to work fully offline for all clinical features. The app uses an internet connection for one purpose only: to communicate with Google Play Billing to verify a one-time purchase that permanently unlocks the app after its free trial. This exchange is handled by Google Play, not by us, and does not involve any patient data. No patient information, in any form, is ever transmitted over the internet by Odentaq.

Data we do not collect

• We do not collect, receive, or store any patient data, on our servers or anywhere else.
• We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking software of any kind.
• We do not sell, rent, or share any data, because we never receive any.
• We do not require or collect your name, email address, or any account information to use the app.

Purchases

If you choose to unlock Odentaq permanently, the purchase is processed entirely by Google Play. We receive confirmation from Google that your purchase was completed, so the app can unlock, but we do not receive or store your payment details, card information, or billing address. Google's own privacy policy governs that transaction.

Permissions

Odentaq may ask for permissions such as camera or storage access, used only to let you attach photos, X-rays, or documents to a patient's record on your own device. Fingerprint or face unlock, if you turn it on, is handled by your phone's own operating system; Odentaq never receives or stores your biometric data.

Data deletion

Because all data lives on your device, you are always in control of it. Uninstalling the app, or deleting records from within it, removes that data from your phone. If you made a backup file, that copy remains wherever you saved it until you delete it yourself.

Children's privacy

Odentaq is a professional tool intended for dental practitioners and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect information from children, because it does not collect information at all.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same page with a revised date at the top.
